July 2020

8 Buckden Roundabout July2020 St Mary ’ s Church Greetings from St Mary ’ s At the time of writing, we are uncertain how opening and using the church building will go forward. We will keep you informed via our roadside notice boards and social media, so please look out for updates. Over the past few weeks/months, we have all had to react quick- ly to changing circumstances and advice as the spread of the COVID - 19 virus progressed. The same will apply as and when restrictions begin to lift. As a church, we have found many ways that we can be together (albeit not physically) and give support and encouragement to one another. Virtual Services: At 11am each Sunday and 9.30 each Wednes- day, we set aside time to pray. Although not together physically, we are together in prayer at those times. Sunday - a short liturgy, sermon and pewsheet are provided on the website and by email; a video of the service is uploaded to Facebook and YouTube. Wednesday – you can join in at 9.30am via Zoom (see pewsheet or contact Jes for details). Virtual Gatherings via Zoom: various groups have been using Zoom to have virtual gatherings. These include Saturday Coffee, Bible Band, Wednesday Prayer (see pewsheet for details). Anytime: All of our social media forums are being updated fre- quently providing links to all sorts of resources for worship, pray- er, music etc. When Jes provides a thought for the day this is shared via Face- book and the website.
