13 Buckden Roundabout January 2023 Village News Christmas light switch - on The Christmas market and lights switch - on took place on Sun- day 27 th November. Thank you to everyone who came out and supported all the local businesses who lined our high street and came to visit Santa in his grotto behind the Vine. Ethan Brasher was the lucky winner of the raffle and officially turned on the lights on for us – thank you Ethan. On the day we were joined not only by the Round Table ’ s San- ta sleigh, but also our giant snowman returned and we had a visit from Princess Belle from Limelight Entertainment. Our visitors enjoyed street food, mulled wine and shopping at the market stalls while the Angel Voices sang carols for us. Our reindeer will be back in action in the Spring to help raise money for next years event – in the meantime we hope you all have a lovely Christmas and a very Happy New Year! Photos by Alec MacAndrew
