I will also put the poster up on the front doors. The shows run from 1 st to 3 rd March. Making Memories is returning this month! We are delighted to announce that the Making Memories session is returning on Thursday 1 st February at 2pm. This will run weekly as it did before. Footpath improvement Buckden Village Hall Trust is very pleased to announce that we have secured grant funding to replace the main footpath through the grounds! The footpath has been deteriorating for some years but finding the funding to replace 78 metres of footpath to regulation specifications has been challeng- ing, with Trustees spending many hours writing charity grant bids. We are very grateful to the FCC Communities Foundation for our grant and especially to the Buckden Par- ish Council for providing the match funding to enable the Village Hall to accept the grant. The new path will be com- pliant with recommended access guidelines. Work should begin in May/June once the ground has dried out. The southern edge of the path by the Bowls Club regularly floods and we will work to ensure that this area is raised up to avoid future flooding as much as possible. Many thanks again to both our grant funders. FCC Communities Founda- tion is a not - for - profit business that awards grants for com- munity projects through the Landfill Communities Fund.
