Cold weather is to be expected so please remember warm clothing and all - weather footwear, plus a bottle of drinking water and a face - mask. Your attendance on a walk/walks must be booked no more than one week in advance, either via the One Leisure App or by 'phoning 01480 388111. At each meeting we either have a guest speaker or partici- pate in an activity of our own. Based on Robin Gibson's talk of 2016 Richard will use additional material obtained last year. The talk will be given in the King ’ s Room, Buckden Towers, at 7.30 pm. The Friends of Buckden Towers are delighted to say that our popular Quiz Night is back on Friday 28 th January 2022 at 7.30 pm. Entry will be £5 per person and will include a glass of wine and nibbles. Quizzers are invited to bring their own refresh- ments, as well, if required. There will also be a raffle and a Heads and Tails competition, so please bring a little extra cash for those. Prizes will be available for the winning team! Please note that we will be restricting entry to 48 quizzers so please be there early to ensure you can get a place. Please remember that all our proceeds go to support the upkeep of the beautiful, and unique, Buckden Towers build- ings .
