Our churches have started services in person again, the village pubs and restaurants are open, events are happening once more at the Village Hall, our li- brary is open and many clubs and societies (but not all) are meeting in person. Please do check the Village News and the For Your Diary pages to see what ’ s on. Amongst others, I note that the History Society, the Gardeners Association, the Mon- day Club, the Wine and Beermakers Society, the WI, the Vil- lage Club and others are all advertising meetings. Check out the relevant pages for more. By the time this edition is delivered, it won ’ t be that long to Christmas, which seems to come round with ever - increasing frequency. Check the church pages for the times of Christmas services—in particular, you can find a summary of the Christ- mas services in all the village churches on page 7. Terry Hayward reaches the penultimate instalment in his his- tory of the Parish Council. This month he talks about some issues that the PC has been addressing for the last few years. You ’ ll find it on page 14. My apologies to anyone who attempted to access the Round- about website in October and found that the site was down. We have had some problems with our server, but all is now resolved and the site is working reliably again. For editorial reasons, we are taking a break from our regular features presenting Buckden businesses, but we intend to be back with those soon. Merry Christmas to all our readers! Please remember to visit the Roundabout website. As well as every edition from 2013 onwards available to see, there are often articles there that we could not fit into the print edition, as well as information that arrives during the month: www.buckdenroundabout.info This month ’ s editor - Alec MacAndrew Editor ’ s Page
