9 Buckden Roundabout August 2023 For Your Diary MONDAY CLUB We are a social group of ladies who meet fortnightly at 2.30pm in the Millard Suite at Buckden Village Hall. At each meeting we either have a guest speaker or partici- pate in an activity of our own. We then enjoy a cup of tea and biscuits, and participate in a raffle. Why not come and join us? You'd be most welcome! The other walks are detailed online* and on a leaflet obtaina- ble from the Library and the Mayfield GP Surgery. Walks are led by trained volunteer leaders following a risk - assessed route for about one hour at a steady exercise pace ; ground condi- tions, subject to the weather, may not always be perfect, so suitable clothing/footwear are vital. It is recommended that walkers carry a small bottle of drinking water to avoid dehydra- tion. Walkers must formally register with the organisers, either via the walk - leader or online: so, if joining any walks, please en- sure to check in with the leader 5 - 10 minutes beforehand.
