16 Buckden Roundabout April 2024 Village News Bookings This month we have the NHS Blood Donor Session on 5 th April and several new corporate bookings alongside all our regular hirers. Melodramatics had a great response to their pantomime. Thank you to everyone who went to see Pinocchio. Buckden Village Hall Trust needs you! The Village Hall and Recreation Ground has a central posi- tion in village life and trustees contribute a great deal to the village in managing the facility. We have some vacancies for new Trustees. The Trust meets 11 times per year so it ’ s not an arduous task. If you, or anyone you know, would like to help to run this amazing facility and the land we are very fortunate to have, or would simply like to find out more information, please email me (address at the end of this article). Village Hall car park We have received complaints about the parking in the vil- lage hall car park on Saturday mornings. Most of the cars in the car park on Saturday mornings during football season belong to the parents of the kids playing football, and most of these probably belong to the away teams. However please can any parents who are from the village walk to the field on Saturdays to help prevent some of the issues taking place. Thanks in advance!
