At each meeting we either have a guest speaker or partici- pate in an activity of our own. No walks start in Buckden this month and there is no walk on Friday the 7th April. For new readers, here are a few details about Wellbeing Walks: Formerly called Health Walks; led by trained volunteer leaders; safety - checked routes; good for folk who can walk for about an hour at a steady, not fast, exercise pace, wearing firm footwear and clothing suitable for prevailing weather/ground conditions, plus a small bottle of drinking water, fellow - walkers cheery folk! No charge! Before a walk, please check in with the walk leader at least five minutes before it starts, or ten minutes before if you are new to the group. The Committee stood down at the AGM and unfortunately no vol- unteers came forward. Without a committee, the Association becomes defunct and therefore Buckden Gardeners Association no longer exists after 128 years.
