This show is in- creasingly gain- ing traction as the best ever screen presenta- tion of the Jesus story and thousands in and outside the church are now watching. Buckden Methodist Chapel will start to show fortnightly epi- sodes from now to Easter (and possibly beyond). Join us for Episode one with steaming mugs of tea or coffee and other refreshments on Tuesday 14 th February at 10.30 and then after on the 2 nd and 4th Tuesday of each month. This year you collected a total of £1,124.85 Jo McGregor Buckden Learning Group ZOOM COURSE The History of Christianity - from Earliest Times to the Reformation This course examines the History of Christianity from its beginnings in Judaic writings and Greek philosophy and culture, through the early period of estab- lishment of the faith, weaving through the tangle of its frac- tures and schisms, and the emergence of its various church- es with new themes and creeds, up to the period of the Reformation in the 16 th Century. Tutor: Paul Ranford 7 Zoom sessions from April 25 to June 13 (half term May 30) Note: This is a history course for those who wish to learn; it is not about faith or belief. We are unveiling our brand new minigolf course near our visitors centre at Marlow Park, Grafham Water, PE28 0BH. The course has a water and conservation theme and will be opening in April 2023. You will have the chance to play a round of mini golf whilst taking part in educational activities to be held throughout the year. Looking for volunteers! The magazine is delivered to every house in the parishes of Buckden and Diddington, free of charge, every month. Our friendly and dedicated team of volunteers post the magazine through your door so you can keep up with local news and events.
