As ever we are very grate- ful We are looking for more photos and paintings of any kind that we could use as a front cover. We especially need photos and paintings of autumn scenes, and of events in the village. We should be grateful for photos (or even paintings!) of the coro- nation celebrations in the village. Please note that photos should ideally be in portrait format and should be a minimum of 2400 x 1700 pixels. More is better! I expect all the rain recently has encouraged the daffodils to show their colours. The recent rain has obviously caused some problems too - both in the village and elsewhere. The road between here and Offord has been impassable to normal traffic twice in the last few weeks; and the bridge at Little Paxton has been shut and resurfaced. The resurfacing took place after the first rains - I hope the work has survived the second round! (What was interesting to see was the ‘ old ’ cobbled road at Little Paxton seemingly unaffected by the water once the top tarmac sur- face had broken away!) Flooding in the village, particularly around Taylors Lane, has prompted the creation of a Buckden SOS WhatsApp group to request help in such situa- tions, as well as a Facebook page. You can join the group ny scanning this QR code. It is for emergencies only though! Please remember to visit the Roundabout website. As well as every edition from 2013 onwards available to see, there are often articles there that we could not fit into the print edition, as well as infor- mation that arrives during the month.
